Amazing that some in the press just gobble up this stuff like its the gospel. Well, it does come from the annointed one.... 114,000 jobs, 1.3% growth... NO WAY U3 number falls 0.3 percent if it isn't cooked. They just changed the metric they measure with and are now counting 1 hour of baby sitting, cutting the neighborhood lawns and any other thing we did as kids as being employed. And the media just accepts it? Now its OK to put out a report as fact without all the states reporting.... you know, unemployment could get below 5.0 if they only reported North Dakota.

The number of U.S. states reporting initial unemployment claims has dropped to a new low under Obama- and more importantly journalists have dropped to a new low as a result.

Previously physicists had predicted that journalists couldn’t get lower.

Guess what? They were wrong. 

I call it the Obama effect: No matter how crappy things are, adding Obama can make it just a little but crappier.

Only 49 of 50 states reported initial unemployment claims last week according to Labor Department economists. This has led to a predictable, yet wholly pathetic attempt by the media to say that unemployment...
