Congressional Hype about Bottled Water

We've been following the bottled water debate for a long time now, and actually recently blogged in response to a similar argument against the regulation of bottled water that was published in the Washington Post.

Amongst the problems with this argument is that it tries to convince that the bottled water backlash is misguided based only on its quality in comparison to tap water. This glaringly – and intentionally – omits the host of environmental, social, and economic reasons bottled water is a harmful.
