The LOST has a technology transfer provision in it which demands that any international corporation operating in or of the sea, must transfer to all other countries any patents, methods or procedures developed by the companies and patented by them. That means giving up US patents to China, Russia and other countries, without payment, so that they can acquire our drilling technology and destroy any competitive advantage we now have. The LOST must be stopped forever, not just modified.
