Political Correctness Run Amok: Some Private Sector Contestants for the U.S. vs U.K. Stupidity Contest

I clipped an article out of the newspaper on March 15th, 2010 which perfectly illustrates the epitome of bureaucratic lunacy. At Lucasville state prison in Ohio a condemned killer's execution was delayed for a week so that he could recover from the effects of having attempted suicide by taking an overdose of pills! I guess they felt he had the unalieneable right to be able to be healthy enough to fully enjoy the occasion. To quote the emminent philosopher Mel Brooks from his master work, Spaceballs; "A--holes! I'm surrounded by a--holes!"

I’ve had some fun on this blog by comparing moronic government policies in the United States and United Kingdom.

In my never-ending search for cheap laughs and juvenile entertainment, I’ve ever turned this into a contest to see which nation has more pathetic and useless bureaucrats.

The United Kingdom has some very strong contestants.
