I voted on an electronic vote tabulator. I asked the poll worker if I could get a printout to verify my choices. I was told there is no printout or any other means of verification. After all the talk of voting machines "erroneously" marking ballots for someone other than the voter's choice, printing a small slip with an identifying number and the list of choices doesn't seem like to much to ask. The process of making voting as easy as possible has also made rigging elections pretty easy.

Pawing through the ashes of the Romney defeat, it’s clear that if the Republican Party wants to compete nationally, it has to do several things, such as re-message timeless traditional values, attract more young and minority voters, particularly Hispanics, and do a better job of getting out the vote.

But this will be moot if the integrity of the voting process is not restored.
