What's really disturbing about this is that many CA, NY, and HI libs will leave to avoid theses rates, then try to inflict them on their new states of residence, generally, AZ, TX, FL, and NV.

As a Washingtonian, I know first hand the effect of the California Plague of Locusts. However , I feel that it is not the entrepreneur classes that are so liberal as much as their spoiled CHILDREN. They are the ones that seem to be champions of the Gimme Class.

A new study out from economists at Lynchburg College calculates the effective top marginal tax rates on various forms of income. While most of the media focuses on the federal top marginal income tax rate, Professors Gerald Prante and Austin John have factored in all of the taxes both nationwide and in each individual state and found that the average rate across the country will approach 50% - surpassing it in three different states.
