That comes back around on itself. Employee wages is one of the greatest expenses for any business. Also, some union wages are tied to the minimum wage (Now a discussion on Unions will begin). Raise the minimum wage, and then increase the selling price to make of the difference. ...in few more years the person making minimum wage is right back to where they start, because goods are now more expensive. RAISE the minimum wage, People need a LIVING wage. This type of ignorance is so tiresome.
