The Republican Party plays politics with national security! The Republican Party made Randy Weaver a hero. G. Gordon Liddy, a Republican, infamously said, "If the government insists upon a firefight, give them a firefight. Just remember, they're wearing flak jackets and you're better off shooting at the head." Of course he said this when 'Bubba' Clinton was president. Republicans become dizzy with small government rhetoric and bombast only when the Democrats are in charge.
