I don't know about the rest of you, but I toasted President Bush when 98.5% of his tax cuts were finally made permanent by the most bleedy Liberal to ever come down the pike. In the schools and Colleges I attended, 98% was an "A" and made me a scholar. I think when you get the Liberals in Washington, and their cohorts in the Media, to Beg, and Plead, and Cajole Congress into making permanent the tax rates they cursed for 8 years, you have a considerable VICTORY. God Bless George W. Bush ! Now, DON'T raise the borrowing limit!

By all accounts, President Obama won the fiscal cliff showdown. Why anyone would take much pride in this kind of "win" is beyond me. It's a bit like being the least filthy toddler in the mud pit.

One of the main reasons Obama won, according not only to Obama but an at times cheering press, is that he had a mandate. He ran on the need for the wealthy to "pay their fair share."

To his credit, Obama never said raising taxes on the "rich" will solve all of our problems. What he did say, however,...
