It's not because liberals drive you out of office. It's because you instantly lose the ability to appeal to your core constituency. Who's going to vote for you after that? You aren't going to be any more appealing to liberals because it turns out you have gay sex in public restrooms. Let me be very clear about this: liberals DO NOT CARE if you have gay sex in public restrooms. Barney Frank (I believe you know him as Bawney Fwank?) has enjoyed a long and very influential career (HE caused the 2008 meltdown, not Republicans! Whaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!) despite being out for decades.
