The Second American Revolution may be upon us within the next 15 - 20 years. All of the signs are there to point to one: 1. Both political parties don't want to tell the truth. The public doesn't know what to believe. 2. Most of the American people don't even understand the U.S. Constitution. Public schools don't teach classes, in detail about it. 3. The President has, in effect, been able to wage war without Congressional approval since WWII. Constitution ignored. 4. The USA acts as it's an empire, not a republic. We don't need troops all over the planet, especially in Europe. WWII is long over. This is bleeding the country dry. 5. We are being taxed for everything now, not just on income, etc. etc. etc......

A few days after the election of 2012 the very talented Michael Ramirez published a political cartoon that perhaps conveyed a more profound meaning than he anticipated. He depicted a pair of hands extending from star-studded sleeves (presumably from a mendicant Uncle Sam), which were held in supplication, as though waiting for a handout or petitioning voters to relinquish more of their earnings to the federal government.
