I all for the environment but I'm also for common sense. These Occupy groups have none. These are the same people AGAINST the Keystone pipeline because, they say, it's dirty and the pipeline could break causing a discharge in one of the states it crosses. Well, if it is stopped permanently from being built, where will the oil go. To the Canadian Pacific Coast and on to Chinese SuperTankers, who don't have the best safety records. What will happen then when in the rough surf and weather of the North Pacific, we have a spill? Well, the California Current will take the oil south and soil the coasts of Washington, Oregon and maybe California. I think I will take my chances with a pipeline over an oil tanker any day of the week.
