JRG3, I think you paint with far too broad a brush. While I share your frustration, just dismissing republicans, out of hand, will probably guarantee that the democrat socialist party remains in power, until it is too late to reverse course.

So what is the difference. The Republican establishment goads into fighting for them and then steals our money. Stop and think about it, We are about to go over the fiscal hill in order to protect 2% from an extra tax break. I mean, everyone, even millionaires get the tax break on the first $250,000 but not on anything over that. Why isnt that fair? If we make $260,000, we get the same break as if we made $200,000 but pay 4% extra on the last 10,000. So, we have to pay an extra $400. Big deal. But the Republicans are willing to let my tax cut lapse for that $400 for someone much wealthier. Tell me why I should support this?
