Thanks, Henry. I would say that there is a lot to say for that argument. The only problem I see is, just how many moral and logical people do we have in grubrmnt? Certainly from a utopian stand point, it is valid. Just a little insight I know you will understand. I call myself a conservative, and I even joined the republican party after Ron Paul lost the nomination; however, I am the only one who gets to define what conservative means to me. I had, in the past, referred to myself as a traditional liberal...too many people don't understand that label. Oh, and we psychologist love labels, that is the big fraud in our profession.

Was there anything about the Sandy Hook massacre the media got right on the day it happened? In their rush to be first, they ignored their obligation to be right. Nearly every detail they disseminated Friday was wrong, even down to the name of the killer. Their desire to sensationalize had them shoving microphones in the faces of children who couldn’t possibly comprehend the events of the day. This was just the latest example of how out of control and dangerous the media has become, and it’s time government did something to protect us.
