Newt, Sarah and a New GOP

Need to vote out all incumbents. For those hardcore republicans that use the argument that not supporting the GOP will give the democrats an automatic win, I can only say it will happen just once. Then the republicans will learn to move toward the right if they ever want to hold another office. Just takes one a## kicking usually to learn something. Why should conservatives keep moving to the left to support the republicans, their turn to move to the right or go the way of the Whigs.

I agree with the author that the vote is the way to get the leadership you want and I also agree that these elected officials should do what they feel is in the best interests of America, however, if they skirt the constitution then they will face the wrath of the people.

If our leaders passed a bill to euthanize everyone over 50 because these elected officials felt it was the right thing to do (which is unconstitutional), they would all hang.

The real conservatives are ticked off about health care because it isn't the right of the federal govt (house or senate) to impose their ideology on us for something they don't have the constitutional authority to do. States can do universal health care but the feds can't force...

On another topic, sorry,

Barbara Boxers husband was arrested in Santa Rosa California for trying to pay a female undercover cop for sex. The whole thing was hushed up because she is a senator, but the police officer is telling everyone. We have sent this info to Chuck DeVore, the only conservative candidate running against her in 2010.

Of course, her husband probably has to call her senator in bed so I can understand why he would go after a hooker.

So tell me Barbara, why was Daniel Ellsberg a hero after releasing the pentagon papers that uncovered how the American people were lied to but this e-mail situation is of criminal concern? Oh yeah, because these lies are supported by you and lining your pockets. ...

Time for real conservatives to scare republicans into voting conservative or losing to the dems. If they ever want to win another race, they must put up conservative candidates. Until then let the dems keep winning and destroying the country (nothing we can't fix if we get cornered and it makes the tea party movement grow). I don't care if the republican party dies off. Then the rinos can become the democrats they already are and the others can go independent.
Here we go again Carol. Scare the conservatives into thinking that they must vote for liberal republicans or the evil democrats will win. Conservatives are to the republican party as black folks are to the democrats. At election time you scare them into thinking the other party is out to get them, promise them everything their hearts desire, get their vote, then throw them under the bus after the election, breaking every promise.

It isn't going to work again. If you vote against your principals out of fear or the "enemy", then you deserved to get jacked up once again. Blacks & conservatives need to tell both parties to shove off or nothing will ever change (at least not in a positive manner) until this happens. Our govt....

Men, “Operation Feminist Movement” has worked, and more swiftly and completely than many of you thought possible. Mere decades ago, we spent endless hours and countless dollars before marriage courting and wooing; after marriage, we shouldered the entire financial burden for our families.

Now, after marriage, women can be expected to pay for half of everything, which is to the good, because video games are expensive. But, as more and more of you are discovering, why bother with marriage at all anymore? You can stay up all night, hang with your buds all the time, secure in the knowledge that on any given night you can be sure to find a willing woman, a woman who has likely been taught, conditioned even (by other women!) to expect...

The amazing thing, really, is how easy it was, how fast the old world of obligation and responsibility dissolved. The first, crucial step, of course, was convincing women that they had it bad, that our jobs were “intellectually stimulating” and not the soul-crushing monotony that they in fact were.

It worked, and soon women were clamoring to join us on the job. It seems never to have occurred to them that we could have so easily prevented them from doing so — and yet we didn’t. We sidestepped without much fuss, actually, which had to have constituted the largest voluntary abdication of power in history. This alone should have tipped them off that something was amiss.

Right away, women at work began to solve our problems....
