Since the bucket of dollars collected and given to the liberal government's chosen charities doesn't know whether it was collected from a conservative or liberal, why does only the liberal's dollar count as a charitable contribution? Your happy tax charity dollar is my compulsory support of organizations and individuals to whom I would not otherwise give time or money. I'm sure that you'd get upset if the state or fed began to give tax charity dollars to Christian gospel missions in China or Africa. I guess in that scenario your collected tax charity dollar would not count as a charitable contribution and should not be counted as a voluntary gift; only your voluntary non-tax charity dollar (to wherever you wish to direct it) would...

Faulkner is a man who measures his words. He very carefully draws a line in the sand and dares the Lord to cross it: "do something honorable".
