Correction. We have an arrogant and horrible president who is trying to fundamentally transform our country, for the worse. Oh, and he happens to be black, too, just as you noted.

Mr. Johnson may or may not have the answer. The same goes for Jesse Jackson Sr. Regardless of whether they know the answer or not, they will not share it. Instead, their primary motivation is only to point out an issue and hopefully there will be an uprising. They're trying to motivate their race / base to start demanding answers to all these questions. In the end, they still won't understand what they are told until they face the real truth and reality.

Additionally, Obama won't get any more stimulus money this time around. The money from the last round which was to go for "shovel ready" jobs remains unaccounted for. Where did it go? The political cronies got their hands on it. Sooner or later, all people are going to have to work. For those who are on some sort of disability, have them stuff envelopes if needed. As to the 23 states that don't require any sort of income verification for food stamps, this has to stop, too. Close those "loopholes" down. After all, the Democrats are the ones who always complain about loopholes.

You are correct. However, when someone has solid advice and they are speaking of reality, people don't want to listen. Their ears just want to hear what sounds good, and is easy to achieve. To take in the full amount of information, process it and do something with it, is far above and beyond the capabilities of most who are mentioned in this scenario.

What are you talking about? Your comments were quite general. When the Republican party spends, it is less likely to be on the Demfare programs. Instead, the Republicans tend to put investments into our defense systems. What would you rather see? # 1) The Democrats handing out welfare, food stamps and smashing nearly every opportunity to create some real jobs for our country. Or, # 2) The Conservative party keep the investments going into our defense build-up of newer technology? As it stands, too many military programs have been cut. The air power of the U.S. forces is starting to lag a bit as the aircraft currently in the fleets and on the flight lines, are starting to show their age.

Don't worry too much about the comments from liame22. Like most Liberals, he or she, can't quite comprehend the material they read. However, they do know which line to stand in when there is a handout being offered by the government.
You are spot on. I've had 20+ years in private industry and things are really different when you work in a center or department that has to maintain a profit. If the profit drops, so does the head count. There is always some incentive to work hard and be the one to avoid losing your position. Yet, the Liberals never see it this way. They question what the individual will do when they lose their cushy government job. I've performed plenty of work in several of the federal agencies in D.C. and it's truly sad how many people completely lack any motivation what-so-ever. All they seem to be doing is waiting their days out until they get to collect their pension. Finally, the federal government employee count the same as the 1960s.
This news of Michigan passing the right to work ruling has got to be about the best news I've heard since the sad election we just went through. It watch those Liberals and union thugs quiver was quite the treat. The sad part, though, was some of the violent acts that were involved. They really demonstrated their low points when a Fox news reporter was punched in the face, among many other incidents. The states with the right to work rulings are the states that are seeing and will continue to see job growth as companies who are forced by the hands of the union in states where the work ruling is not in place. Good riddance ...

I think there's a guy in our office that lived and graduated from Iowa. He is truly a clueless individual. He goes around complaining like he's a conservative individual and even drinks instant coffee at work to save money. Yet, his thoughts and garbage he spews from his mouth is so Liberal, I could literally puke when I hear his "know it all" opinions on everything. They're sure graduating some smart ones in the state of Iowa.
