I only meant that the same people that felt all warm and happy about voting for a black man in 2008, but WON'T this time for other reasons (say, the economy) are now accused of racism simply because they've decided he hasn't done a good job being the president. It amazes me that it's okay to uphold his race when he's the messiah getting rid of the partisan divide, healing the oceans, etc... but when he falls back to earth, suddenly that person is deemed a racist if they have stopped drinking the kool aid. It shouldn't surprise me, but somehow, it still does.

Don't worry too much about it. They can't justify their positions with facts and real world examples. They can't defend the indefensible any other way but to use the race card. I don't mind.
