Ed... what planet are you from? The founding fathers established in the Constitution that the principle responsibility of the Federal GOVMINT is to constitute an Army to protect the Nation against foreign enemies. Practically all other rights they disseminated to the individual citizens and the States. So of course, the military is GOVMINT run. In my 62 years I have only know Democrats to denigrate the military. In my experience the Republican party get bad mouthed for it's support of the military. Also for the record both political parties are corrupt when it comes to Crony Capitalism. This fact gave birth to the Tea Party and a call for smaller GOVMINT. Take off your team blue jersey and get back on your meds Edsiccors.

Following Hurricane Sandy’s massive devastation across the northeast, many were quick to tie it to “climate change” (you know, what “global warming” and the “new ice age” used to be.). In a blog post on Tuesday, former Vice President Al Gore wrote “Hurricane Sandy is a disturbing sign of things to come. We must heed this warning and act quickly to solve the climate crisis. Dirty energy makes dirty weather.”

Meghan McCain sarcastically weighed in on Twitter, “So are we still going to go with climate change not being real fellow republicans?”
