Even if they were all unjustified--which they weren't--12,000 per year for 100 years totals only 1,200,000. Compare that with the the estimated 50,000,000 disarmed citizens murdered by their own governments during the 1900s. They included Jews, Russians, Chinese, etc.

Over 50 million were killed in Russia alone by their own government. Doctors by far are still the number one killers but people still use them without thinking about it much.
