Do not expect the 5-4 DC Supremes to obey their oaths of office to protect and defend the Constitution, and specifically the Second Amendment. The majority will probably say about gun control the same thing they said about healthcare control, “It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices.” That is, our republic is dead and our Constitution is a "living (evolving) document". We now live in a "wonderful" de-mob-ocracy, and we have to march in lockstep with the best organized mob.

Our Constitution DOES evolve,through AMENDMENTS,but NOT through enacting unconstitutional laws and relying on the court system's expense and risk to keep them on the books.
there IS NO "judicial review";
one must break the law,be arrested,tried and convicted,then while sitting in jail,appeal your way up through the appellate courts,and MAYBE the Supreme Court will agree to hear your case. there's no guarantees.
All this happens at YOUR expense.
FEDGOV has unlimited time,money,and resources for this appeals business,they can delay and delay,at your expense,....while you're sitting in jail,of course.

and not evolving by changing "interpretations" of long-understood terms.

Living document = meaningless document. The Constitution is an undying document, which is something very different.

Guns, guns, guns. Love, love, love. America needs guns and love.

As humans, we have an inherent right to life. Our right to life (or self-defense) is a natural right and does not come from any document, even the Constitution. The Bill of Rights or the first ten amendments to the Constitution simply acknowledge our natural rights. Specifically, the Second Amendment recognizes our natural right to bear arms for self-defense.

Guns are the reactive, defensive answer to evil in the world. Love is the proactiveanswer to evil. We need both—guns and love.

Good men express themselves through love; love...
