Happy New Year?

I'm not so sure about your characterization of the lovable Clinton's lies. As I recall, he lied whenever it was beneficial to himself, much as 0 does. And as with 0, the MSM either ignored or reported affectionately about Clinton's, uh, mischaracterizations. And remember, Clinton DID campaign for 0, saying "No one, not even I, could have undone in just 4 short years all that the evil Repubs did to our economy" (I'm paraphrasing, of course). One big difference is that I never thought Clinton wished to destroy America. I only wish I felt that 0 does not, either. Of course a certain amount of lying will be necessary when one is in the process of destroying something as great as America.
The beginning of a new year is often a time to look forward and look back. The way the future looks, I prefer to look back -- and depend on my advanced age to spare me from having to deal with too much of the future.

If there are any awards to be given to anyone for what they did in 2012, one of those rewards should be for prophecy, if only because prophecies that turn out to be right are so rare.

With that in mind, my choice for the prediction of the year award goes to Bret Stephens of the Wall...
