White House Chief of Staff Misleads Nation About Fast and Furious "Facts"

It's pretty sad when you can not only tell that the rifle the guy in the pic is brand new and never been fired, but also know it's a Romanian POS. I hate AK47's for many reason, first of all they are used to kill our family members and friends. I would rather see the 1 million M1 Garand Rifles South Korea offered to sell back to Americans for $100 a piece resold in America, but Obama has forbidded it.

I'd buy one. I've missed mine since Army basic training in 1961.

So which army did you train in?

The United States Army, at Ft Jackson, SC. Then sent to Army Language School where I couldn't have a weapon. Then to NSA where I also couldn't have a weapon. Then I got out.

I also took the DLAB and went to Monterey, but much later than you. Now the School has been relocated to Ft. Bragg.

I am sorry I mistook what you were saying, I thought you were saying you missed the AK47 and in 1961 their were very few Armies that trained with that rifle in basic, I thought you were trolling and was trying to bust you out.

Yes, I would buy an M1 any day of the week, they are fine rifles. I hope the South Koreans hold unto them long enough to ask President Romney for permission.

I say that, but I am seeing more and more US surplus weapons in photos around the world being used by Insurgents.

On CNN's State of the Union this morning, White House Chief of Staff Jack Lew was asked why President Obama asserted executive privilege for Attorney General Eric Holder over Fast and Furious documents when he railed against the use of executive privilege in 2007. Remember, President Obama campaigned on his administration being the "most transparent administration in history."

White House Chief Of Staff Jacob Lew: “Candy, let’s go back to the facts. The facts are that this was a bad plan, this Fast and Furious. It’s something that started in the Bush Administration and the Attorney General did...
