AmyDB, If they force registration or weapon turn ins it will be millions of Americans that have become the criminal. I say that, but I remember California during the 80's, first came gun registration and then came gun confiscation, and if you didn't turn them in you were criminal. Russia did it as well as China, and many other countries around the world. Our Country allows by constitutional authority for every man and woman to own a firearm unless they are derranged, convicted of a felony, convicted of domestic violence, user of drugs, or not here legally. I took a young man to the sporting good store to buy his first weapon, all because he thought he had to register, get a perment, and go through an inspection process, even here in TX.

Following the tragic mass shooting at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin on Sunday, Bloomberg, in typical fashion, pushed gun control again -- this time during a speech expressing his condolences to a crowd at the Sikh Cultural Society in New York on Monday:
