Obama and the Law

I agree, jrpublic. However, I hold Boehner more responsible for doing nothing. We don't have a majority in the Senate. But, we DO in the house and Boehner could do a lot to stop, or at least slow down Obama's destructive policies. He holds the purse strings yet refuses to stop funding Obamacare, which he could do. So what if it shuts the government down completely for a short time? It's been done before, many times. How did we wind up with such a coward in that position? He doesn't speak for us. As long as he is there, you're right. We haven't a chance.

The Bipartisan Folly of Our Islam Delusion

That's why our system was not set up as a democracy. Rather, it's supposed to be a democratic republic. It's why we have the electoral college. Majority rule is NOT how this government was founded. Our king, er president DOES have limited, enumerated powers. He just doesn't care. He runs roughshod over the constitution every day. Agencies like the IRS and the EPA should not be able to dictate how we live, but they do. That's where we need to start taking our gov't back.
What's even worse than denying knowledge is stating how what was done was not illegal. And was non partisan. And mean every word. The arrogance is mindblowing to me.

Who's Responsible in the White House?

With any luck, the fools who stayed home in 2012 will vote in 2014 and just enough of the clueless will get a clue to tip it back our way. If not, I just don't know.......

"Go on, Take the money and run" ooh ooh ooh
I figured it was Axelrod but you might be right. It's either him or Emanuel or both.
I have a concierge doctor. He limits his patient load and always gives me all the time I need or want. He takes cell phone calls from his patients and answers emails from us. He's not the most political guy, but he knows Obamacare is not a good thing. I keep him informed by emailing him whenever I come across articles that I think will interest and/or affect him and his practice. So far, he's not planning to quit. If he did, I think I'd go to my vet, too. I'm an olerocker/bluesgirl, too.
Is that what you want? After seeing how well the gov't runs the DMV and the Post Office, you want to add complete control of our healthcare to them? My premium has more than doubled already. When they had to pay for all "women's preventive health care", i.e. birth control and abortion, my premium went up. When they had to take kids until age 26 on their parents policies, premium went up. When they had to take people with preexisting conditions at low premiums, my premium went up. And now it's going to go up again when this monstrosity fully kicks in next year with all the taxes or fees. I'm not saying the Insurance companies are the greatest, but I have trouble faulting them when stuff like that is forced on them.

Hating America

I'm not so sure actor would be rated that low. A couple weeks ago someone produced a list of the most trusted americans. Number one was Tom Hanks and 4 of the top 5 were actors. Ed Asner is one of those who thinks communism is a terrific idea! The right people haven't implemented it yet is all.
Obama has convinced the low info voters that he has no clue what his administration is doing. But, the reality is, his fingerprints are all over everything. Maybe the best "teflon president" we've had to date. Slicker than our first black president.
