"So do white people vote for white people because they are white?" Would it be looked at the same? Supporting someone on the basis that they have some sort of minority status has always been viewed as far more "virtuous" by the left.

Rod, I agree that drunk driving should be dealt with for public safety. I do respectfully disagree on a couple things: First, law enforcement does not always wait until after the accident. The county where I live leads our state by a large margin with regard to DUI arrests - the same county is at the bottom, however, when it comes to DUI convictions. Second, it seems that lawmakers (spurred by activists like MADD, etc.) have attacked the wrong end of the spectrum. Lowering the legal limit (.08 percent - less than 2 drinks in many cases) instead of coming down harder on the .2 percent drivers only succeeds in creating more "criminals", rather than saving lives, imo.
No crime has been addressed with more diligence than DUI. Will there be "DWH (driving while high) checkpoints?", where people are herded off the road and forced to be tested? Where do the zealots from MADD fall on DWH?
"It is now simply ridiculous for anyone to contend that they still support the IRS in this affair or to believe there was not nefarious conduct on it's part that they are desperately seeking to cover up. The only reason to do so is the fear that revealing what the IRS did and why it did it will reflect very poorly on the Democrat party." This is the mission of trolls.
