Your absolutely correct and if the Feds don't want to protect the borders, let the Border States do it themselves if Texas, Arizona want to. We could end up having this going on, we do some but a tiny amount at this time.

Maybe it's time to recover and use the Tenth Amendment. We have a large majority of RED States, some with total Republican control, some with partial REpub
Control in important parts of the State Governments. It's time for the States to draw the proverbial line in the sand, and maybe withold the funds they send to D C and use them in state rather than send them out and get back a pittance and orders on how they be used. That wasn't the plan of the Founders and it's the States who created the Federal government not the reverse.

As our focus continues to be on the violence in the Middle East, it is also important to pay attention to what is going on just south of our own border in Mexico. The war between the Mexican government and drug cartels is still raging with the war's latest victim being female Mayor Maria Santos Gorrostieta, who was beaten, burned, tortured and dumped for dead on the side of the road. Before being killed, Gorrostieta had been attacked twice by cartels for daring to challenge them. The third attack they waged on her, was her last.
