agree. It's even more unfortunate that they are encouraged with a pile-on of attention. I'm the first to admit it's hard not to respond to some of their idiocy...especially the ones who are posing as conservatives, making racist posts in order to encourage others to join in, or at least to make a casual reader conclude we that's what we are. Others come here to titillate (allison), and those are the ones I wish people would not engage.

Following last week’s GOP Convention, Mitt Romney has seen a bump in his polling numbers. Just one day after the convention ended, Rasmussen found that Governor Romney now leads President Obama. Romney now garners 47% of the vote compared to Obama’s 44%. This is an expected modest bounce, but there could be an even larger bounce because of much of this data was collected before Romney’s speech on Thursday night.
