Barrycare proposed to give 30 million uninsured people free medical care, lower costs, improve the quality of care, and save billions of dollars. All without increasing the number of caregivers, or facilities. And doing it under the same efficient gov't that runs AMTRAK, the Post Office, Foreign Aid, Farm subsidies and so forth. My prediction at the time was it would be as compassionate as the IRS, as efficient as the Post Office, and as financially responsible as the Department of Defense. I was too kind.

Lame stream media thinks they are exempt from health care rationing, until it happens to them. It is like needing new stronger laws on crime, unless it happens to a law maker's family or a judges, it does not get passed. Mother of murdered child. Sociopath done, for the thrills, fence post used. Where is the ban on them?

But the cost for Obama politically has been very high. Since passing ACA, Obama has lost control over the House by a fairly large margin. The mid-term election in 2010, which can only be described as a terrible defeat for the president, was a direct result of the bizarre way Obamacare passed. And, also, the bizarre promises made to pass it.

It was hailed as a “deficit reducer,” as the savior for small business,...
