Mr. Bozell, Our nation has religious freedom. Over 300 million citizens would protect your religious freedom with their lives. Many of those 300 citizens would punch you in the jaw if you mentioned to them one word of your religion. Sir, you consider Christianity sacred, you should use our United States of America's freedom of religion to convince another. This place is America.

Wow, getting punched in the jaw for mentioning your religion? l would never think of punching, say, a Muslim, in the jaw for mentioning their religion. Instead I would tell them how they are lost without Jesus Christ as their savior. What kind of people are you talking about?

No it's not America! It's the United Socialist States of America! It stopped around 1966-67 thanks to LBJ, a Dummycrat!

Puh-leeeezzzze..Don't bother to lecture Christians about religious freedom. Our religious freedom allows us to criticize people who denigrate our religion, for just as long and just as vocally as we please. Surely we can have at least the same amount of religious freedom accorded Muslims.

The difference is, we aren't going to burn down buildings or lop off people's heads because they denigrate our religion.

Ironic that a country founded on the premise of religious freedom now attacks it so openly.

But you have done it. You don't do it now for various reasons, but mostly because the religion has been weakened considerably over the centuries. It no longer controls the culture.

"Ironic that a country founded on the premise of religious freedom now attacks it so openly. "

There have always been those who attacked it, starting with the Puritans.
A Christian can be crushed gazing at the picture of Mary standing at the foot of the cross, watching her beloved son suffocate and die. But in that vision, she stands there for hours, patiently enduring her suffering. For two millennia, she has been a role model for Christians, a woman who practiced obedience in the most difficult of human circumstances, with fervent hope for what this sacrifice will offer all mankind as it struggles with sin.

This is why it seems so hard to reflect that vision of patience when black-hearted "artists" practice character assassination on the Blessed Virgin...
