Liberalism Versus Blacks

Think, please consider, be thoughtful, please. The American black community have a category called "white man's business". Concerns, issues, events, and people that couldn't interest us, black citizens, in anyway. Since December 1980, Ronald Reagan, every thing written or voiced by the Republican Party has been "white man's business". We the American black citizens have just ignored the GOP message and messengers. We severed any connection with the Republican Party. In this Mr. Sowell's column, just yucky mishmash of "white man's business". A stale mishmash at that.

White man's business? Didn't somebody say we're all in this together?

Anyone looking for an example of the sorry results of the leftist education system and the damage of the urban subculture need look no further than pinenee's comments. When Pinee says "we," pinee thinks he (she) is speaking for blacks in America. He (she) is certainly not. He (she) is speaking for black Americans that have accepted without criticism the debilitating bill of goods sold them by their schools and their Leftist leaders and representatives. What a pity. It breaks my heart. And that's not sarcasm.

And p*ss poor attitudes like that is what's giving me as another black man the ignorant label and giving people in sheets the ammunition that they love to depict us with.

Jobs, education, housing, are *White Man's Business"? That is really sad. Are you sure your fellows in the *American Black Community* don't care about such things?

The KKK would agree, they just think their "business" is smarter and superior.

pinenee...

Well then... if their is "white man's business" cited by blacks then what is "black man's business"????

One word and action can replace colonialism, imperialism, and white supremacy. The one word is "respect".

Try to stay away from the subjective. Most "white people" are strangers to us, solid concrete objectives are the preferred means of communications.

Though Mr. Sowell can't; try to propose concerns and ideas in/for/of the moment, not 25 years ago.

Hey, Dude, colonialism, imperialism, and white supremacy were all concerns of much more than 25 years ago.

If you don't like mash, then, just what are you feeding on?
There is no question that liberals do an impressive job of expressing concern for blacks. But do the intentions expressed in their words match the actual consequences of their deeds?

San Francisco is a classic example of a city unexcelled in its liberalism. But the black population of San Francisco today is less than half of what it was back in 1970, even though the city's total population has grown.

Severe restrictions on building housing in San Francisco have driven rents and home prices so high that blacks and other people with low or moderate incomes have been driven out of the city....
