You really should read the constitution (including all amendments). Gay marriage and MJ (don't think I know what that is) are not listed as rights anywhere in this document. HOWEVER, what is not given to the federal government is the province of the states. And as they are doing now, are passing laws for and against gay marriage depending upon the state. This is why the SCOTUS will be hearing a case to try to bring some type of uniformity so that people can move state to state and still have their marriages recognised (OR NOT) I would not take bets either way after the AHC decision. And by the way, you can get your lazy pr1ck working to pass an amendment to the constitution, if these things are so important to you.
