No doubt that Medicare is a diet version, but it was enacted and now we have to live with it. People have paid taxes into it, like social security, how do you just kill it? Ryan had a great idea, make your changes, but those at or near the age limit should be exempted. Then rewrite the law with some type of logic and thought. It should also illustrate how a law has unintended consequences, how once you've done something you just can't get the do-do back in the horse. As for unconstitutional, there are clauses (commerce, necessary and proper, general welfare, etc. ) in the constitution that you could drive a truck through.

New Jersey governor Chris Christie was not invited to address the Conservative Political Action Conference because of his position on gun control, according to a source familiar with CPAC’s internal deliberations who requested anonymity to speak freely.
