Brain dead politicians don't understand that at a certain point, you get less of what you tax more. I would be in favor of a new law that requires all Tax and Spend lawmakers to buy a working calculator. The behavior of many U.S. corporations is proof the the tipping point has been reached on corporate taxes. The corporations making smart business decisions are not un-American, the high corporate taxes are.

Cruz Control? Part II

With due respect to Dr. Sowell, the real bottom line problem with Republicans is they are attempting to win battles with nothing but defense. The Democrats are constantly on offense and therefore able to define the problems and solutions. This administration is well aware that their opponents only play defense so they continually start battles, both small and large, to keep their opponents scrambling to put together some kind of defense. The congressional oversight committees and courts are overloaded just trying to determine if Democrats activities and laws are legal. Ted Cruz understands this and is trying to get more people in the Republican party to go on offense with a clear goal. Unfortunately, this path is antithetical to the current crop of GOP establishment defensive hacks. You simply cannot win battles with defense alone. You must balance your plan with offense.
All they have to do is post a message for 30 seconds at the start on the movie. The message? "This is a work of complete fiction that is loosely based on a bible story. Please see the bible for the actual story"

Obamacare Changes in One Infographic

CBO says millions will lose full time jobs. Most ACA recipients will pay more for less coverage. The national debt will increase dramatically burdening those who follow. These "bumps" don't seem to bother Cam25 and she must feel like "I got mine and the heck with those who have to pay for all this".
I believe Obama knew there would be a firestorm of debates and arguments on this one. I have looked at all the comments so far and it is sad to see the discussion surrounding the pros and cons of MyRA and virtually nothing in the way of outrage at the illegal lawmaking of the president. It's no wonder that he got elected twice and is able to take away so many freedoms. Very few are actually paying attention.

I said inequality of outcome but meant to say conflating inequality of outcome with inequality of opportunity.

"President Obama seems completely unaware of how many of the policies he is trying to impose have been tried before, in many times and places around the world, and have failed time and again." This comment presumes Obama is trying to accomplish what he says he is. He is really trying to create the illusion of inequality of outcome to increase the liberal minion numbers. He is succeeding quite well at that. The economic destruction seen since his inauguration is intentional.

"After this latest shooting, will the left finally let us do something about the dangerously mentally ill?" Sounds as if the right is totally dependent on what the left does.

A Policy Change To Build Black Wealth

You missed my meaning. If she showed the actual income figures for both years, you could compare them equally to see if there was progress, no progress, or no change. Since she only showed the actual incomes for the later year, extrapolating the differences in $$ is useless and misleading. Show the complete income data for both years and then you can make an accurate comparison based on percentages. It's a matter of being fair about numbers.

You don't show the actual income figure for 1967, just the difference in $ rather than a percentage. The 2011 figures show black income at 59% of white. Assuming1964 incomes were far lower for both groups, the percentage could be exactly the same but the difference in $ would be much lower. I suspect you knew that and decided to publish the misleading data because it fits your narrative.
