I'll bet most of the folks at townhall are shocked that Obama didn't nominate his mentor and puppet master: Bill Ayers.

Aaaaa, life in right wing world. What a trip.
You can spin numbers to make them say pretty much whatever you want.

Some of you will believe right wing pundits.

But since I don't trust those people on anything, I go to a more legitimate source for information about the budget: The Congressional Budget office.

Here is were you can read their blog about the budget from May 2010:

http://cboblog.cbo.gov/?p=817

The numbers they are talking about have ZERO relationship to the headline of this story. I mean ZERO! Go look for yourself. They say the budget deficit is about 3% higher than last year.

Why anyone would trust a right wing source for information on anything anymore is a mystery to me.

The conservatives loved to note the CBO when the CBO helped their argument. Now the CBO is lying. LOL!

You people have ZERO integrity. None. Zip. Zilch. Nada.

You can't have it both ways, folks!

Either you were right then and wrong now, or you were wrong then and right now.

Which is it?

I suspect you will choose the latter, since all you care about is selecting the facts that help your argument at the moment, rather than being honest and consistent over time.

You people absolutely amaze me. The shamelessness is astonishing.

Phylo out.
It doesn't matter who Obama nominates, by the time right wing shock jocks and pundits get done lying about the nominee, everyone at townhall will believe that he or she is the devil incarnate. No one does character assassination better.
Rush gleefully ridiculed Obama when the Olympic committee chose Rio.

But the Olympic committee chose Rio because there had never been an Olympics in South America. I wasn't all about Obama, as Drudge said.

But the rejection of Limbaugh is purely because of who he is. He was rejected because the owners hoping to buy the Rams know that more than half of Americans think Limbaugh is a disgusting, lying sack of garbage.

President Obama would have no trouble if he wanted to join a group of people trying to buy a sports franchise.

In a contest between Obama and Limbaugh the American people respect president Obama far more than Rush Limbaugh. It wouldn't even be close.

Obama is at a 56% approval...
So. I never hear Michelle Malkin complaining about all of the lobbyists employed by the big corporations. Teachers have every right to lobby for their interests. So do corporations. The only thing I'm worried about is a lack of transparency. Recently, the Republicans filibustered a bill that would've required both unions and corporations to disclose who is spending how much money on ads. They filibustered because they know that the corporations have far more money to throw around than the unions. And they like the fact that the corporations can give money anonymously. And notice how Malkin fails to mention that the legislation is fully paid for. In fact, the legislation will actually decrease the deficit. A bill that saves...
Ebonics? No, no racism here at townhall.
Empathy is necessary to understand various points of view. Empathy is about walking in another person's shoes. It means that a poor black man might have to empathize with a rich white businessman in order to understand all of the implications and consequences of a decision. Empathy is not the same as sympathy.
I don't. There you go, lying about what I think and believe again.
Blacks who grew up in Jim Crow south don't need to be taught that they are the victims of white racism, they experienced it first hand.
