Ever notice that libs can't seem to argue without calling people names? If you don't have a point other than "I don't like you", call the author "Moaner", and Republicans "rethuglicans" or "repugnants", throw in a whole bunch of opinions and avoid addressing anything the author claimed. On that note in this otherwise well-written article, I do have one problem with it ... and I hope Mona just "miswrote". The law actually can, should, and often does (it always should) take into account the intent of the framers of that law. On the other hand, the intent wasn't just to "prevent another Vietnam". The intent was to check the power of the executive, who rightly has the power to use the military in an emergency. This act rightly...

That's because "liberals" (and I use the term loosely) see no difference between VOTING to give people money, and ACTUALLY giving people money -- except the former hurts them less. They not only feel like they've "given" by forcing others to give, but it gives them this glowing, Robin Hood complex.
