On Feb. 15, 1933, an assassination attempt on FDR left several wounded, one mortally! The shooter plead guilty and was executed on March 20, just five weeks later! Maj. Hassan killed 13, plead guilty and his case was drawn out for four years so lawyers could enrich themselves to the tune of Millions of dollars. Maj. Hassan got no better or fairer judgement than the man who shot FDRs people! The present system to maximize the money to the legal profession was deliberately created to do just that. The Lawmakers, the Judges (who are just Lawyers who have been promoted) have rigged the system to make it lucrative! Just as the endless appeals of the Death penalty enrich lawyers and delay justice, Legislators vote largess to the profession, fully intending that upon leaving office they will go back into the practice and reap some of those rewards. But, like when Obama does something Illegal, no one complains.

To think we "promote" lawyers to juducial and legislative roles. This is like finding a putrid septic tank and skimming off the top for refreshment.

Someone please explain to me why we allow lawyers to run anything. A law degree has no component of management or economics or science or psychology or sociology or philosophy or theology or poetry or literature or anything of value to humanity. Lawyers are the least well-educated of college graduates. They go into government because they understand one thing: how to bend the rules.
