My fellow pilots here will remember the classic explanation of the difference between the safety of Commercial Aviation where people can scarcely remember the last time someone lost their life, to the loss of private pilots at a rate of 1000 a year. The Reason? IN COMMERCIAL AVIATION, THE PILOT DOES NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR THE MAINTENENACE COSTS!!! Well I cannot think of a better example of the calamity of our present condition. We just had an election that was overwhelmed by voters who are voting for generous policies, the cost of which they will not themselves pay! The same is repeated when polled on the issue of giving a path to citizenship, de facto amnesty without a date, to illiterate Hispanics who cost twice as much as they pay!

So, as we see 62% saying they favor indemnity and permanant residence and access to Obamacare for 11 Million and their relatives soon to arrive, most of that 62 percent do not expect to ever pay any of the cost of the generosity they just imposed on the rest of us, in perpetuity.

I often write and talk about people selling their soul to the merchants of social justice in return for the cushiest life with the least amount of effort. The reason I put it in those terms is because such action goes against not only American DNA but also human nature. Humans at their most basic level are like any other living organism on the planet that want to procreate to keep the species moving along. Once that's been secured there are still instincts like competition and recreation that constitute life, even for domesticated animals.
