You may be inclined to dismiss chicken little's constant warnings that "the sky is falling". That is, unless you are in the umbrella business, in which case you may sign on to the theory for economic reasons. Al Gore Sr. who's claim to fame (other than voting against the Civil Rights Act) was his job of carrying water for Occidental Petroleum. Much of the Gore family fortune came from oil. And would it surprise you to learn that the Occidental stock Fat Albert inherited from his dad was sold AFTER gross Al was VP? And, would you be surprised to learn it was sold to the US Government for an undisclosed price, No Bid Contract? It would be interesting to see how many of the Die Hard Believers found a way to make money supporting it

Here is the official Government position and there is money to be made supporting rather than questioning it.

The Moon has not been seen for days but we can bring it back. So lets have a big formation to watch it return, thanks to our efforts. Thar Tis!

Can you dispute our impericl evidence?

The ancient Priests and Medicine men found there was a way to benefit from the human propensity for wanting to "Believe" stuff.

Here’s my challenge to all the global warming apologists:

Explain to me why the “settled science” of global warming has to manipulate headlines to make information appear scarier and more threatening than the actual data shows.

If global warming is so settled, why do you and your friends take the opportunity to exaggerate, obfuscate and slant every piece of news that comes out to make it seem relevant to today?

You can see an example of this in the headlines below:

Climate Change Main Contributor to Corn Volatility, Study Says” writes Bloomberg-BusinessWeek.
