Mitt Wasn't All Wrong About "Gifts"

As gungy suggested, we can learn something if we find why the Asians voted overwhelmingly for Obama. I have suggested perhaps non european immigrants have never known any form of government except monarchy, emperors, dictators or communism (for a short time). That new concept of making decisions for yourself; Scary! The question is why, after living here for a while and observing democracy, they do not seem to evolve? Perhaps it is because they too choose not to assimilate! All those people working at the chinese buffet, ever wonder where they live? Are they your neighbors? I'll bet there are darn few of them who are on welfare. That is not their style! I would trade 3 Mexicans for one Cuban, 5 for one Asian!
"What the president's campaign did was focus on certain members of his base coalition, give them extraordinary financial gifts from the government and then work very aggressively to turn them out to vote, and that strategy worked."

Thus did political analyst Mitt Romney identify the cause of his defeat in a call to disconsolate contributors.

Republicans piled on. "Completely unhelpful," Gov. Bobby Jindal told Wolf Blitzer. We don't advance the "debate by insulting folks."

"A terrible thing to say," Chris Christie told Joe Scarborough. "You can't expect to be the leader of all the people and be divisive."

Oh. Was not...
