Creative Use of Jobs as Prop in Obama Comedy Hour

I still like my metaphor that Obama has his thumb on both sides of the scales; On the one hand he has lowered the requirements to get on disability, food stamps and the dozens of other avenues to free money, all designed with the dual purpose of absorbing the idle masses and placating the plebeins, keeping them from the streets With the other hand he is killing all the jobs which these low information voters would be able to handle anyway! He is killing these jobs by Regulation, Green energy mandates and Obamacare. But the combination works on the takers, You don't see them in the streets do you?

Phillup your metaphor as your explanation is rattled. Remember 1 (ONE) fact .
MANY, MANY, MANY Americans now rely on these dozens of avenues to free money because of the HAVOC unleashed on our economy after FAST and LOOSE. I guess some might conclude it is really the Con servatives that are responsible for giving away Government FREE money??
But, You don't see it that way do You?

And while we are on the subject I might ask;
Was there really a Great Depression, or was there merely a dearth of Federal Borrowing and Distribution to provide for everyone?
Where were these essentials of 21st century life in the USA? things like,Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare, food stamps, federal aid to education, Head Start, Pell Grants, housing subsidies, welfare, earned income tax credits or unemployment checks.

TELL ME, Would Tom Joad and Ma have needed to migrate to Weedpatch, CA. if Obama had only been in office?

Phil, more important than weather or not The Great Depression Really was a FACT of American history is? Do you have a note pad of all the government assistance programs? Either way good job and remember WHY we need them as we did back in the 30's?
Con servatives playing Fast and Loose on Wall Street as in 2000 to 2007 and the rest is history AGAIN?

Your last statement needs interpretation? But hey Phill w/two ll's TELL ME why you're not in office or running?

Yes, they are in the streets. At every stop sign there is an out of work beggar.

The number of people employed in the United States dropped by 496,000 in March, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, yet somehow, miraculously, the unemployment rate dropped a full basis point from 7.7 percent to 7.6 percent.

That’s because while the White House, the media and assorted economists kept saying “Hooray! Things are FINALLY getting better- and this time we MEAN it,” another 663,000 people dropped out of the workforce.

It’s amazing how discouraged people are during the Greatest Recovery Ever, led by the Greatest Chief Executive since Jon Corzine took over MF Global.

“Consumer confidence tumbled in March,”...
