At Least Get the Big Lie Right

John, I have been critical of the Media, and by inclusion, you also for failing to convey what I think is the great "swept under the rug message" which applies to finance in general and Immigration cost in particular. I offer this rediculus anecdote as an example. My Daughter-in Law has many relatives and friends in El Salvador. Why don't we bring the entire country here so as not to miss anyone on the sweep? THE PRICE IS THE SAME; FREE! At this point some may want to bring in the tax lawyers to explain the difference in the Cash Accounting System and the Accrual System. Here is my argument. If you pay for IMMIGRANTS with Borrowed Money you have no intention of ever repaying, is it not free to both the giver and the receiver?
It seems to me that Obama has his "thumb" on both sides of the scale. On the one hand he hands out benefits in lieu of work, and then, just to make sure you cannot get a job, has his Spoilers write crushing regulations which prevent employers from being able to create a job for anyone who would be inclined to get off public support. But, unemployment checks seem to be the only money that is in danger of going away. The New Welfare Map Make sure you read to the bottom... These 11 States now have More People on Welfare than they do Employed! Maine, New York, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, So. Carolina, Alabama, Miss., New Mexico, Calif., and Hawaii. Last month, the Senate Budget Committee reports that in fiscal year 2012, between food stamps, housing support, child care, Medicaid and other benefits, the average U.S. Household below the poverty line received $168.00 a day in government support. What's the problem with that much support? Well, the median household income in America is just over $50,000, which averages out to $137.13 a day.To put it another way, being on welfare now pays the equivalent of $30.00 an hour for a 40-hour week, while the average job pays $20.00 an hour. *************************************
Study: All Employment Growth Since 2000 Went to Immigrants By NRO Staff June 26, 2014 7:22 PM According to a major new report from the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), net employment growth in the United States since 2000 has gone entirely to immigrants, legal and illegal. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, CIS scholars Steven A. Camarota and Karen Zeigler found that there were 127,000 fewer working-age natives holding a job in the first quarter of 2014 than in 2000, while the number of immigrants with a job was 5.7 million above the 2000 level. You can read the entire article there.
When, on National TV, Obama said there was not a Smidgen of Corruption, he had been assure the by the best in the Government there was not a Smidgen of Evidence they had not expunged! My greatest fear is that Republicans do not believe the actual depth of the problems they will be facing! Briefly it can be summed up this way: 90% of Government are rooting for Lois Lerner.
And the obvious question is: If the Data on the Hard Drive WAS ACTUALLY UNRECOVERABLE, WHY GO TO THE TROUBLE TO DEGAUSS IT? TO MAKE CERTAIN SOMEONE ELSE COULD NOT, USING DIFFERENT PROCESSES, AND WITH DIFFERENT POLITICAL MOTOVATIONS, COULD NOT SUCCEED IN RECOVERING THE DATA?

The argument that a growing population is going to save Social Security by their contributions falls flat upon examination, but only by the open minded! The Social Security Fund will be enriched by a whopping $3 thousand a year by their Minimum Wage, $10 dollar an hour, and frequently "Under The Table" wages while one Grandmother will withdraw that much in a couple of months! Further, the Immigrant themselves will withdrar their entire contribution in less than five years and will then be receiving Borrowed Money for the balance of their lives! There is NO BREAK EVEN POINT WHERE UNEDUCATED ILLEGALS BECOME A POSITIVE ASSET! Par's point was driven home by this paragraph from Kevin D Williamson's Article in the current issue of NRO. From the article: "While some governments may be liberal in the sense that Robert Frost understood the term — too broadminded to take their own side in a fight — the government of the United States is generally expected to act in the interest of the people of the United States."
BULLS EYE, OSFBoy!
