The Inbred Corruption of Washington

The problem conservatives have is that the party that is supposed to represent them is to political warfare what the French Army is to actual warfare. The only thing they would rather do than retreat is surrender.

Putin Pulls Obama's Strings

Putin is playing chess. Obama is playing tic-tac-toe. President Monroe gave us the Monroe Doctrine we all learned about in school. Obama, with his red line, has given us the Moron Doctrine.
Your ignorance regarding Abraham Lincoln is great. I suggest you read the Walter E. Williams article that appeared in Townhall.com on February 20 of this year. I think you will find it illuminating.
Quite obviously there are many more people holding two or more jobs today than 5 years ago. How do these people get counted when the unemployment rate is calculated? If they are double-counted, the unemployment rate would actually be considerably higher than the reported rate states.
In Detroit's favor is that there will be no alternative to adopting a small-government agenda; the tax revenue will not support large government and nobody in their right mind will lend to Detroit.
You, sir, are testament to the power of the big lie- repeat it enough times and most people will believe it.

Bad Faith and Benghazi

I say we don't really know what difference it makes. All we know is that preventing us from knowing the truth about Benghazi motivated Hillary and others in the Obama administration to lie about it. In other words, it made a huge difference to them. Only when we know why deceiving us about Benghazi was so important to them, will we really know what difference it makes.
I would like for Hillary Clinton to tell us what difference it makes. After all, it mattered enough to her and the rest of the Obama administration to lie about the Behghazi attack in the first place. Why was the truth so toxic to Clinton and Obama that they chose to spin such a ridiculous lie?

Endangered: The Constitution Part 4

As to what weapons should be permissible for US citizens to possess, it seems obvious to me that whatever weapons our government is permitted to use against its citizens, should be available to the citizen. To take an extreme example, nuclear weapons should not be available to citizens, just as the government should not be permitted to use them against its citizens. But, at the other end of the spectrum, if government agents are permitted 30-round clips, so should citizens and if police departments are permitted armored vehicles, so should citizens. This is it was at the time of our founding. The citizens and government were on an equal footing then and should be now as well.

Don't Listen - Go for American Dream

I'm sorry, but at least half of college and university diplomas are worthless, signifying only that someone has wasted four or more years of their life. Your failure to recognize that not all diplomas are equal is a monumental mistake. I am involved in my employer's hiring process and am amazed at how poorly educated many graduates are. We have resorted to giving applicants a quiz covering only material that should have been learned in high school and find most college graduates fail miserably. The time they spent in college has prepared them for nothing better than parking cars or bussing tables. The time and money they spent was a totally wasted.

Billiards and the Art of Persuasion

What a depressing thought. Most voters, particularly young women, are too stupid to be persuaded by logic and common sense- more proof that women's suffrage was a big mistake.
