President Obama: The Tale of Two Calls

As weak as Obama is when conducting foreign policy, the Republicans are even weaker when conducting domestic policy. It is little wonder than Obama has absolutely no respect for the Republicans as he routinely walks all over them.
What if Boehner and the rest of the House Republicans would just send the CR including the defunding of Obamacare back to the Senate and go home? If they were to all correctly state that it is Obama and the Democrats who refuse to compromise and that they will return as soon as the Democrats are willing to negotiate, how could it possibly be argued that they were the ones shutting down the government? The problem is that the GOP is so full of unprincipled wimps that, as an opposition party to the big-government Democrat party, it is totally worthless.

This is why the Republican party is worthless. It is full of cowards. They won't seriously try to defund Obamacare because they know that when those nasty liberals start saying mean things about them they will cave, so it's better to give in early, before their tender feelings are hurt. Summoning the resolve to win a battle of wills with Obama and the Democrats is inconceivable to them. They are like the French Army; the only thing they would rather do than retreat is surrender.

People remember President Monroe for the Monroe Doctrine. Future generations should remember Obama's red line as the Moron Doctrine.

The problem conservatives have is that the party that is supposed to represent them is to political warfare what the French Army is to actual warfare. The only thing they would rather do than retreat is surrender.

Putin Pulls Obama's Strings

Putin is playing chess. Obama is playing tic-tac-toe. President Monroe gave us the Monroe Doctrine we all learned about in school. Obama, with his red line, has given us the Moron Doctrine.
Your ignorance regarding Abraham Lincoln is great. I suggest you read the Walter E. Williams article that appeared in on February 20 of this year. I think you will find it illuminating.
Quite obviously there are many more people holding two or more jobs today than 5 years ago. How do these people get counted when the unemployment rate is calculated? If they are double-counted, the unemployment rate would actually be considerably higher than the reported rate states.
In Detroit's favor is that there will be no alternative to adopting a small-government agenda; the tax revenue will not support large government and nobody in their right mind will lend to Detroit.
You, sir, are testament to the power of the big lie- repeat it enough times and most people will believe it.

Bad Faith and Benghazi

I say we don't really know what difference it makes. All we know is that preventing us from knowing the truth about Benghazi motivated Hillary and others in the Obama administration to lie about it. In other words, it made a huge difference to them. Only when we know why deceiving us about Benghazi was so important to them, will we really know what difference it makes.
