Green Flatulence

“It causes global air pollution.”

As a worldwide pre-condition
For international defense,
Pungent anal gas emission
Is a felony offense.

First one’s colon fills with gas,
And then to hold it in may fail.
Once he has let the flatus pass,
His butt will surely land in jail.

So for a pristine atmosphere,
All nations must perform their parts
By teaching people far and near,
“Abstain from letting fetid farts.”

Soldiers Lynch and Piestewa were army secretaries in a convoy which got lost and drove into an ambush. Their canonization as heros stems only from the fact that they were female and Piestewa happened to be half Hopi and half Mexican, both conditions over which neither had any control. Their injury and death are indeed tragic, but certainly do not rise to heroic levels. Piestewa Peak was re-named to replace the politically offensive antifeminist "Squaw Peak" title. Indeed, many years later, most Phoenecians still refer to the mountain by its former UPC name.
