The Bigots Against Marriage Equality

Christians believe God gave us the institution of marriage through Adam and Eve and the teachings of both testaments. The law Moses gave Israel condemned homosexuality, not distinguishing between homosexual promiscuity and "marital singularity." It was all an abomination to Him. But secular society declares itself a better lawgiver than God and says homosexual marriage is the only just institution for our society. What about the cowboy who insists on marrying his horse, to whom he feels passionate proclivities? We will be there soon, if for no other reason than that God found this too an abomination. Smarter secularists feel they know better, so it doesn't take much to predict the downward drift of secularism.

phil, that is your right to believe what you wish regarding the origins of marriage, but no where in our legal system does it say that the law is what the Bible dictates. That's the consequences of living in a free society; others are allowed to have their own beliefs as well.

marriage defined as man-woman is not based on religion. it's a NATURAL union, unlike homosexuality.
Man-woman marriage predates religion, religions merely adopted it as something good, beneficial,to be supported and promoted.

I agree with you 100% However, be prepared to be called "bigot", "intolerant" (eventhough those who shout it are 100 times more guilty of it), "holy roller", "Jesus freak", "uneducated and ignorant"....etc.
Now, on the other hand if you or I were to shout out the slang terms for those who are homosexual, I'm you would probably lose your job or be forced to issue a formal apology.

We hear it from gay activists day and night, “This is about marriage equality. We believe in marriage for all.” In reality, what most of these activists want is a redefinition of marriage that suits them alone. For the rest, they want anything but equality.

Writing in Australia, Bill Muehlenberg notes that polyamorists have challenged the Green Party’s declaration that they support “Marriage for All.” The Australian press reported that, “The Greens have declared they have a clear policy against support for polyamorous marriage as they pursue their case for same-sex marriage. Greens marriage equality spokeswoman Senator Sarah Hanson-Young has...
