New strategy in Afghanistan: Protect everyone but Americans

This is disgusting. This is the same mindset that left the Beruit Barracks guarded by Marines with no ammo for their weapons, let insurgents hide in mosques in Iraq only to come out and kill americans later, all in the name of ROE. As a Marine officer who served in Iraq it never ceases to amaze me that we have these "Smart, tough, intelligent generals" who do not know their history, do not know the ground the are commanding, and do not know how to stand up to the political leadership to protect their people.
