Toure is a little boy with a fun job of talking about things and getting attention. My son was a little like that when he was four years old. But, as most people, there were people around him to have him take responsibility for his ill-thought or mean-spirited comments. Liberals like him make me feel sad for them. Their responsibilities will catch up with them eventually.

Phali44 my family all hails from the county in Texas where Larry McMurtry grew up. When he wrote the story about Lonesome Dove he was painting a picture of most of my kinfolks. Some were like the character Tommy lee Jones played, some were more like Gus played by Robert Duval.....

But, regardless of which character they seemed to be more like, any would take a damn razor strop or a horse quirt to you in a heartbeat if you refused to grow up and take responsibility for any ill-thoughts or mean spirit you might harbor.....There really weren't very many liberals in the part of the country where I grew up.

We're used to MSNBC's Toure saying outlandish things, but his latest commentary in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade is by far the worst. During a segment last week, Toure went on what he called an abortion rant in which he thanked God and country abortion was there to "save him" at a time when taking care of a baby and becoming a father would have been inconvenient for him. He also refers to abortion as a "safety net."
