The Soviet Union was where historians could not predict the past. That should be enough to say about recommending the NCAA rewrite its history; we are stuck with the past. As for the present, don't revise the much discussed mural - take it down altogether. The Library should keep its name. The statue, maybe move it to the library.

In this case, it wouldn't be re-writing history. Using illegal and unethical means to win the games means they should be stripped.

The only way the Freeh Report on the Penn State scandal could’ve been any worse for those involved is if it discovered they acted as their former pedophile football coach’s pimps by helping him actually procure the young boys he abused.
