Why are gays the only group that are excluded from marriage? If marriage's sole function is to sustain society and be a net good, then why can senior citizens, the infertile, and convicts without conjugal visits get married and not gays? If it's about bettering society, why are murderers, rapists, adulterers, molesters, and abusers able to marry and not gays?

whether or not some abuse this essential relationship does not render it less essential. it is the male female relationship that is essential. do not confuse the exceptions with the rule.
