One thing I heard discussed in Nursing school there is a problem with people like smokers going to the doctor for lung problems because they suspect rightly and fear also they are going to hear what they have been hearing their whole life that their smoking will kill them eventually. This guy even suspected in his own words his wife was hiding something from him. Why is that important here? Because it goes to the question could ANYONE have saved a person who was in denial. I wonder if that is how this guy lives with the fact that his WIFE didn’t want a doctor to examine her by blaming it on Mitt Romney and him losing insurance. You're conjecturing too much and that isn't the point. There are several cancers that are not typically discovered at early stages that have nothing to do with smoking.
The point is that the guy is blaming Romney for her dying, and her dying on lack of insurance. Neither of which is logical.
